ROUTE OF ENTRY/EFFECTS OF ACUTE OR CHRONIC EXPOSURE:
SKIN CONTACT: May irritate skin with prolonged or
repeated contact. Brief exposure may dry skin or cause
stinging sensation.
EYE CONTACT: Vapours will irritate eyes. Mist and liquid
can cause eye damage and corneal burns.
INHALATION: Vapours irritate throat and nose. Higher
concentrations may cause headaches, vomiting and coma.
Prolonged exposure may cause unconsciousness or death.
LC50 (Rabbit) for Isopropyl Alcohol is 16,000 ppm/
8 Hours.
INGESTION: May cause nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps,
diarrhea, unconsciousness and death.

EYES: Wear splash goggles when handling concentrate. Do
not wear contact lenses.
ENGINEERING CONTROLS: Ventilate area well
LEAK OR SPILL PROCEDURE: Contain and absorb on
noncombustible inert material. Wash off residue. Dispose
of in an approved manner. Keep out of sewers and
waterways. Empty containers may contain vapours.
DISPOSAL: Dispose of contaminated product in an approved
manner. Consult local, Provincial and Federal
authorities.
HANDLING PROCEDURES AND EQUIPMENT: Avoid contact with eyes,
skin and clothing. Do not take internally. Wear
impervious gloves when handling.
STORAGE REQUIREMENTS: Keep out of reach of children. Keep
away from heat and combustible materials. Store away from
sunlight. Store away from food or animal feeds.

FIRST AID MEASURES

SKIN: Wash exposed area with lots of soap and water. Get
medical attention if irritation occurs.
EYES: Flush immediately with plenty of cold water for
15 minutes, lifting upper and lower eyelids occasionally.
Get prompt medical attention.
INHALATION: Move to fresh air. Give A.R. if not breathing.
Get immediate medical attention.
INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Small amounts of this
liquid drawn into the lungs from swallowing or vomiting
may cause severe health effects (bronchopneumonia or
pulmonary edema). Get medical attention immediately.
